We’re thrilled to announce that Trencent has achieved a SOC 2 Type 2 certification! We understand that when dealing with our clients and their customers, they will expect us to prove our commitment to securing their data. So we became SOC 2 compliant–and that is a big deal.
What is a SOC 2
Compliance Certification?
The process generates reports to organizations, their regulators, business partners, and suppliers with important information about how the organization manages its data. Depending on the business, each organization designs controls that follow one or more trust principles and specify how organizations should manage customer data. The standard represents the following Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
The Process:
The first step in the SOC 2 process was to partner with Vanta. They are auditors who run through the checklist of items to prepare us for certification. Vanta’s entire system lays out the process and gives strong assurances that you’re doing the right thing. They plugged directly into our stack, and provided us with precise and actionable instructions on how to change aspects of our system to bring them into compliance. Vanta provides us with the strongest security foundation to protect our customer data. To follow through on all of the requirements demonstrates Trencent’s commitment to best practices as we continue to scale.
